Methodology
Where the numbers come from
Every price, quota and limit on this site is taken from the vendor's official pricing page and stamped with the date we last verified it. You'll find that source link and date under every verdict. If a number has no source, it doesn't ship.
How costs are calculated
Monthly cost estimates are deterministic code: base plan plus metered overages from the published rates, given the usage you set. Every estimate decomposes into labeled lines that sum exactly to the total — you can audit each one. Where a vendor bills a dimension we can't model precisely (for example Firestore per-operation charges), we say so on the line instead of guessing.
How fit scores work
Fit scores combine transparent rules: budget fit, bundled features, exit cost, ecosystem maturity, free-tier runway, and your hard requirements. Rule weights are our estimates, not vendor benchmarks — each rule shows its weight, its contribution and its reasoning, and hard requirements rule tools out rather than quietly lowering a score. Changing your inputs changes the verdict; that is the point.
What AI does and doesn't do here
AI never produces a price, a fact, or a calculation on this site. All numbers come from the sourced knowledge base through deterministic code, locked by hand-computed tests.
Why pages exist
Every page on this site corresponds to a decision real people demonstrably face — sourced from search demand and community discussions. We build the tool because the question exists, never the other way around.
